EU-Project EuroPrevall has developed this copyright-free material for primary care professionals and food allergic persons or parents to allergic children. The material aims to help you understand what food allergy is about, how it is diagnosed and handled. Patients associations, clinical doctors with expertise in food allergy, dieticians and food scientists collaborated to create the material.

EU Project EuroPrevall

EuroPrevall is a research project funded by the European Union. It aims to deliver the information and tools necessary for policy makers, regulators and the food industry to effectively manage food allergies across Europe and hence deliver an improved quality of life to food allergic consumers. 53 research centres investigate the complex interactions between food intake and metabolism, immune system, genetic background and socioeconomic factors to identify key risk factors involved in food allergy.
